Zimbra 8.8 Adds Extensive XMPP Chat Capabilities

For those looking for an XMPP / Jabber chat solution, OpenFire has long been the key solution for this as the "last man standing" in what used to be a rather large field of products. But now Zimbra has IM built into it as well also using XMPP / Jabber. It is built into Zimbra and has an interface right in the web console.
To use it, you need only open port 5222 and you can connect to it as normal from any XMPP client like Empathy, Pidgon, etc.
