Would each player be playing two instruments? Wonder where that question came from.

I'm open to the option of it being a trick question.

Trick question is just code for "wrong." A trick question means you are stuck interpreting the intent and intelligence of the asker, rather than being asked to honestly answer a question. A trick question, by definition, has no definitive answer.

This type of question is a test of your reading comprehension. Many people will skim the question and answer it incorr3ctly instead of answer what is asked.

The problem is, there is no way to know if the person asking it knows that - nor does the question include enough information to know what is implied. This is a style used by the CompTIA exams and the sole component that it tests is your knowledge of which exam you are taking, as each exam expects a different answer to the exact same question based on the knowledge and understanding of the test writer, not the taker, and know amount of reading comprehension or domain knowledge gives you the answer.

It tests how much you know about the person asking the question.

In this particular case, the claim is that this was a worksheet, not a test.
