If I use on average 600 minutes a month of PSTN phone service and my rate was $0.009/minute I'd be looking at spending a total of $64.80 in a year.
(600 * 0.009)*12 = $64.80
Right, I'm not insane am I, I can do math right?

SIP has far less taxes than legacy phones. But there are taxes, yes.

I'm not calculating taxes, that's like calculating the overhead a file system architecture would take on a new server infrastructure.
Totally insane for me to be looking to do that. Leave that to the accountants. (aka storage specialist)

Yeah, voip.ms has an $.85/month fee, that's $10.20 a year.

That's a big percentage of your total there

So add a few grand per year in SIP service charges.

And the inbound rate is $0.01 for US calls, which would effect the price.
But by a matter of dollars per month if everything was outbound calling. I'll list the price, but not going to take a guess at the outbound/inbound ratio of calls.
As there is no where that I can even gather that information.

VoIP.ms (and every other provider I know of) charge you per DID. VoIP.MS is in the $0.85 each to $1.50 each range for most DID.

It's for having the DID. Essentially a parking fee.
