SP = Spice Peppers. On Spiceworks it is a secret, private area where many of the "spicier" level people can talk without being seen by us "normals".

Spicy Peppers is not secret by any means. Has not been for years. It was originally a good sounding board for SW community managers to sound things off of active community members. But that went south years ago also.
It is not private either. Access is automatically granted upon reach Thai. You have no access by choice.

I see what you're saying. I get the same feeling when I read both threads, but the actual dialogue to get to the same feeling is different. It's like their trying to describe a UFO sighting. It has the same kind of odd certainty to it.

It's still selective. People like Curtis does not get access. I thought it was automatic and found out later that it was not. Most people get it, but not all.
It's still secret, or effectively so. People have let the cat out of the bag, but it is not officially announced anywhere that I know and I never hear from anyone that hasn't gotten access that they know that it exists. If it was public that it existed, people who don't get access upon getting to Thai would be pretty put out.
