I would go Yealink. FreePBX is on top right now but in a couple years there may be other strong options. Sangoma phones are locking you in to a vendor.
This is a huge thing. FreePBX is on top right now because everything else is gone. I mean it IS a good product, but it also has no competition right now.
Issabel and Xivo are up and coming competition, but neither are ready for prime time yet.
I would say the equivalent Yealink featured phone is half the price of a Sangoma phone. Yealink MSRP can be deceiving.
Right, if you are only buying Yealink from Amazon, you are not getting the best pricing.

I have visited there before, but never thought about creating account from the price I saw with out one.

VOIP Supply actually ships a lot of Yealink from Texas as they are just reselling another distributors inventory. Because of that they arent the best price I have seen out there either. Baltic is probably better.

Just looked and the phone we use is $14 cheaper on Baltic than it is on voipsupply

@scottalanmiller We do use the slightly higher end model SIP-T46G though... Our ROI switching to VOIP was like 6 months, so I sprung for nicer phones than we probably could have gotten away with. Additionally, to make them function exactly like our old system we needed more line keys than the lower models had.

I'm putting the T46S out for our new PBX.

The T46 is a solid phone if you want more visible keys at once.

- Any experience with iOS softphone apps, especially with regards to being able to make and receive calls without having your cell number exposed, and call quality.

Just that it seems rather expensive.

@kelly I have used it, it works. Just costs so much more than Vultr.
They do support FreePBX via their ticket system and you get a couple free modules, one of which just became more expensive.
But Vultr has been great...
