      Do you have these recommended hotfixes installed?

      Yep. Installing the latest 7.0 hotfixes is what started this behavior.

          On the XS forums it seems like there are some bugs in 7.1 that torch the host, so I've been waiting to be sure those are fixed before upgrading.

          It really seems like there are more and more issues with XS with each new updates. Starting to make me a little nervous...

            New NIC fixed the issue.

            So to sum up ... one of the XS7 updates hosed the NIC on my XS, but only with Linix VMs. Windows VMs worked fine.

            A new NIC (with the Linux VMs using only that NIC) fixed the issue.
