      Was just reading some virtualization docs & this caught my eye..since we had discussed this in a previous thread.
      I wonder why custom partitioning is not recommended?

      Custom partitioning on Red Hat Virtualization Host (RHVH) is not recommended. Red Hat strongly recommends using the Automatically configure partitioning option in the Installation Destination window

      Update the disk requirements for RHVH

      Custom partitioning on oVirt Node is not recommended

        Like with anything enterprise, standardization makes it a whole lot easier to support.

        Also there is likely some performance or stability issue if you adjust the settings incorrectly.

          Also rhvh has so much automation the more you customize the higher the rish of issues

            @FATeknollogee The other thing to remember is that choosing the RHVH at installation likely changes the default layouts from what we normally see in a generic minimal install.
