      Also, the hostname issue is probably the bigger one. What are your settings there?

          No, Windows DNS (there is no AD DNS) is for your local domain, not your public one.

                      So an email did not go through, but nothing is in the queue? That's really strange. That suggests that the server reached out and sent the email elsewhere.

                      What is the last ~50 lines in /var/log/maillog

                          I think that you may need to edit your /etc/hosts file...

                          Your local IP address and hostname and FQDN to the first line and remove any other references to your host name.

                                          You are using a different domain than you led us to believe. When did you switch from yourdomain.studio to mail.yourdomain.studio? Those are totally different things.
