Stripe and Paypal are just payment processing. Things like Attendize have lots of hidden things (believe me I spent a lot of time last year going through about 20 of them).

Got it! I thought since Attendize is self hosted, there won't be any costs as we will be the one managing things on it!

Part's of it are but parts of it force you to use their payment processor etc and that is where they get you.

Yeah and I'll be away all day at a conference you'll think is as exciting as watching paint dry, but you could do fun things by yourself while I party and get drunk! It'll be awesome, I promise.

There is an amazing Spa about 20 minutes from the conference area. You could get her a couple days at the Spa for your anniversary!

No, I'm being optimistic. I hope he does indeed have a 10th anniversary next July. If he spends it at MC2017, I'm not so optimistic about the 11th...
Actually the odds are that she will be in Japan with the kids. So, most likely, I will either be flying back, and attending MC jet lagged, or leaving for Japan directly after MC.

My Wife is coming with me, as we are planning to include our vacation after the conference. Need to find some fun activities for her while am attending MC2017. If not, I'm sure she will figure out something!
