having a conversation with another tech in a different department.
Looks like he's feeling the same way as I am with being fed up with company and tired of the Bullshit.
He said he's been ignored for 3 days now, where he asks a question on a software he is new to using.
The guys that's been here for 4 years doesnt seem to care about his career or growth so he's doing just fine, He said " it is how it is.. Nothing's really going to change it.."
Well I say forget that, We're getting a new GM coming august.
Let's see what happens around then, i suppose.

Finding articles for <air quotes> best practices </air> for security questions used for password recovery -- since we bought a product that has this functionality and we are to implement.

First I have to get certifications to put on my resume.
and really figure out what my skills are.

Spent the morning upgrading 10+ machines - only one minor hickup and that was really more an impatience thing than any real issue.

apparently - The sata connection was changed to ACHI from RAID.
in BIOS, once that was changed, It booted right up..

I have now Idea why i didnt know that.

was testing a battery back up - unplugged. it, Batter back up doesnt work - as we found out.
Then it wouldn't load after that.
Changed the Bios this morning and BAM. Its up and verifying disks.
