Phones were out for us this morning and for a client location. When is this outage going to stop?
When the hackers get bored.
If only they were hackers but, alas, they are not. Just people given open remote access.
I don't follow are you implying that script kiddies are not hackers?
Didn't even require script kiddies. The systems were just left open (at least in the last attack round.) No hacking used at all. No more hacking than "sitting down at an open computer".

Got home and saw that my wife disassembled the room where I HAD my office (a small room where our PCs are).
She mentioned that the room could need some fresh colors a few months ago. Guess that's what one would call "little signs in marriage".
