Yeah, a reseller vendor would be a real possibility. RC needs to watch out for that. Could be someone trying to discredit them, or someone without a concern about them being discredited.

lol. Considering their Support quality and propensity to just stop responding to support tickets, I dont think RingCentral is worried about being discredited.

Report showed over 50 emails, all coming from a @ringcentral.com address.

            an actual @ringcentral.com email address?

NOTE: Their is a checkbox under each user account that says "notify me for additional offers..." You may want to check on that one. I can give pictures if you cant find it, but just login as admin on their website and select an extension. Then go to "User Info" or Extension info, something like that

I checked for the email address mentioned in the original post and i haven't received anything from those domains.

That sounds like someone acting like RingCentral to me. Seems very fishy for it to be RC themselves.

Very fishy, but they have confirmed it is a vendor they contract out to and will be ensuring the SPAM is stopped

Maybe a lot of their problems are third party vendors doing things in their name.

Unless their tech support is all third party vendors, I respectfully disagree to the cause. I would say both of them are symptoms of bad management decisions and not focusing on the customer though.
