HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer
Create a new 32bit Dword value: "EnableAutoTray"
Set to: 0

0 = Show all
1 = Hide all

To activate:
Log out and back on

OR

Reboot

OR

Use Task manager to kill and restart Explorer

This should be fine. I have a similar configuration with restore points and it works as designed.

I believe you need to logout and login again on the mobile for it to applie.
