Should I blow it all away and start again?
If so, how do I blow it all away?

I have the time to blow it away and start again.

What you are seeing is normal. If you do want to blow it all away, just delete all the contents in C:\MeshCentral\

Just realized that the Vultr Firewall makes it kind of easy to have Cockpit easily accessible.

so i got mesh central working and it's pretty good.
when I did the install I didn't use the --install switch so I don't have Windows service.
How can I add a Windows service so it will auto start after a reboot??

Almost 24 hours since installing Pop! OS on my TV computer. It's been awhile since had a Debian/Ubuntu desktop based system on my home computers. My preferred OS, Fedora Workstation is on my desktop and laptop.

I ended up putting Pop_OS back on my System76 laptop (with 20.04). I'm always torn because I like both projects: Pop_OS and Fedora.

Have you noticed any performance difference between from those distros?

Only thing I've noticed is that Pop_OS seems to boot a shade faster than Fedora. I have a feeling by the end of the weekend and hopping around, I'll land on Fedora 32 for at least the next month or so 🙂

so i got mesh central working and it's pretty good.
when I did the install I didn't use the --install switch so I don't have Windows service.
How can I add a Windows service so it will auto start after a reboot??

If you know the service executable, use sc.

                                      sc -?

Almost 24 hours since installing Pop! OS on my TV computer. It's been awhile since had a Debian/Ubuntu desktop based system on my home computers. My preferred OS, Fedora Workstation is on my desktop and laptop.

I ended up putting Pop_OS back on my System76 laptop (with 20.04). I'm always torn because I like both projects: Pop_OS and Fedora.

I'm like that too. I have two identical desktops, one with Ubuntu and one with Fedora to help me with that problem.

Installed Pop_OS 20.04 on my Dell laptop today. So far, so good.
