So we talked to them and they had to wait half a day to find a person that we could talk to. When they finally got us someone they couldn't tell us about the product or about pricing. So.... won't be looking into this any further.

The guy I talked to said that the product manager was on the East Coast and had gone for the day but was going to call the manager on his cell to make sure he calls me tomorrow afternoon.

Seems like more than one person in the company should know about the product.

Maybe someone needs to read the website tonight and bone up on what it does so that they can tell us about it tomorrow 😉

Yeah, not a great experience so far. We'll see.

They don't put their price on their website and tell you to call in to fine out. So we do, first person knows nothing, gets someone to call us back, and that person also doesn't know what it costs. Like... seriously? It makes me think that they haven't sold any yet and they are waiting to get an interested customer to start the process of pricing it.

How can you go through this much effort and not even be able to be told a price!!

And if you call the sales number it goes to a voicemail that is full.

Found this script. Just a script, but seems better than an abandoned product from a company that isn't even sure that they make it.

I wrote one on here a couple of years ago.

@scottalanmiller @CCWTech - chiming in late... I inquired a couple of years back (a few perhaps 🤔 ). They were just "Storware" then. From vague memory it was expensive and didn't inspire confidence. I ended up staying on Windows Server, utilising Hyper-V and Veeam.

Would be really interesting to see if they reinvigorate efforts for this product, at a realistic price (cough significantMLdiscountsforeveryone cough). Looks like they could use some marketing and increased product awareness out into the tech community.

Still not inspiring confidence. Good to know our concerns are warranted.

In the pool that we are looking at, I think that the largest number of VMs is 3.

They are non-responsive as to a price but offered a demo.

Sorry but I'm not doing a 1 hr demo only to find out that the price (Unless free of course) isn't reasonable. From the disorganization so far I'm guessing it's expensive just to keep all the people who don't know anything about the product employed.

                                        Wow, pricing is crazy high.

Poor service, high price... Hard pass.

It's $1,500 perpetual for up to 2 cores. I didn't ask what maint costs would be.

Not bad if you are running a few VM's but our clients are small and only have 2 VM's. @scottalanmiller says that's not too bad but at the same token compared to a script that can do it, that's a lot for just a little bit more.
