Unifi Multi Site Updates

There is quite a bit of complaining about this one.

Same with a new Wireless Network (SSID) i need to add it to all sites, just thought there would be a quick "MASS ADD"
Because sites are not designed for this.
A site is typically a distinct entity with its own information.
So you are using this contrary to design. Not that it cannot work, but not what it is designed as.

I suppose I agree with this... So that said - UBNT needs to break it down a bit more... More like Companies at the top, and under a company they have sites/locations.

I get that a company can have a need like @hobbit666 is describing. It is simply not the "normal" consideration that UBNT built for.
I have all of these Sites.
A couple have the same SSID plus a distinct SSID. But that is not the normal.

That part is obvious, though that just shows small thinking on their part. Considering the use of Unifi gear for the whole stack, you have to create different sites for different firewall configurations - but I'm assuming most companies would like their WiFi to be universal across the entire enterprise (large or small).
I manage 3 locations, it would be nice to have WiFi be the same over all of them - one setting to rule them all... again just shows small thinking...

So you want a user to have access to all sites, but not be a superAdmin?
Pretty sure this can be done - you just have to grant them access to all of the sites by hand.
Yes i want a particular user to only have rights to reboot a AP and no other "admin" tasks like Adopt or change settings.
It's basically a 1st line tech,But i don't fancy going through all 60+ sites to add him manually
Any kind of group control for users would be nice. I 100% agree with that bit.

Yeah, just don't.

LOL - I wasn't sure how you were going to react to that bit.. .;)
I tend to agree with your sentiment, and if you don't then you can put multiple sites worth of APs into a single Unifi Site if they are all going to be the same. But then you loose a bit of niceness of seeing the separate locations info.

If their stuff is supposed to be the same, then put them in the same site. If not, what is the complaint?

OK but we have 60+ "Sites" that have their own network IP and Wireless Network, but i need to add a common one Corporate laptops via Radius. Was just hoping to add this all at once.
But also the unifi controller isn't just going to be used by companies that have multiple "clients" like a MSP. I'm sure alot of companies that have several sites use common SSID at all sites.
-
@JaredBusch But i do see where your coming from too.
Just would be a nice feature.

It is actually designed for the WISP market, not the MSP market.

I'd amend your statement to be
it's actually designed for WISP market, not the MSP or enterprise market. Features like the OP's asking for would make it more enterprise ready.

So if @JaredBusch is saying that Unifi should be used for WISP environment.
What products/companies would people recommend for SMB with multi site and single/central Controller/management setup?

There is nothing we've found yet that matches this price range. Sure it takes a more manual step for the specifically requested thing, but really how often are you making new SSIDs, especially ones that need to be universal?

Can't think of anything like that. Unifi is the absolutely best product for the SMB. I'd recommend changing processes over changing products in this case.

Right, anything designed for SMB or MSP is going to definitely not have universal SSID stuff because nothing should be universal in those settings.

Really? why would you say that?
in my small business - we have three locations, and I want the SSIDs to all be the same so our devices can roam seamlessly.
