deploy iPads - locked down - suggestions?

We are looking to deploy 4 or so iPads to our front desk to assist with patient check-in.
This involves the patient logging into a website and filling out a form online.
At this time there are no apps involved.
I would like all other functionality killed. i.e. no app access, no camera access, no photos access, etc. The only thing the iPad should be able to do is visit the webpage for the check-in process. If all other webpages can be blocked as well, that would be a huge bonus.

You can try Apple Configurator and see if that gets you where you need to go, but Apple goes through these cycles of not supporting it. There are several free MDM solutions out there. They will have different things locked behind paywalls, so they may or may not get you to where you want to go.

Apple Configurator would be what I would use, if you wanted to avoid all of that you could use single app mode as well. Not sure if it allows you to block access to specific websites though.

iPads seem like a waste of money here. If truly only accessing the web on a tablet, android would make alot more sense financially.

Oh, that is fancy.
And the Samsung Galaxy Tab A series are very inexpensive.

Wow - Android 5, that's ancient, also the oldest version supporting this pinning option.

That would be weird since they just refreshed it late last year. I did have to purchase the ones I got in August from CDW.

Screen pinning may have been killed...
But my phone does have app lock where I can lock out all apps (minus chrome or whatever) with a pin.

If they killed it, it's because they didn't put it in anyone's face to become aware of it. parents would love that - pin this game to the screen, keep the kidos from messing with the rest of the phone.

Yeah you do it via app lock now.

It would have been nice to have both screen pin and app lock. One shouldnt have replaced the other IMO

App lock does not allow you to open other apps
Screen Pinning does not allow you to change screensThey both should work IMO
-
Also it looks like Android 9 does support screen printing. It isnt available on MUI which is Xiaomi's OS.

aww, Are you sure screen pinning was removed from Android? that seemed to be an OS thing - this App locking is a third party app, doesn't even seem to be from Samsung from what I read in the article.

Only works on Mac - I have no Mac to use for this.
