Started Umbrella Academy last night. Jury is still out on this one.
I finished this last night.
The series as a whole was ok, but the thing that really threw me off was the idiocy of the characters.
Dysfunctional from fucked up childhood. sure.
But there was just so much OMFG stupid in the character interactions at times.
I have never read the comic, so I have no idea if this is how they were supposed to interact with each other or not.
Example: No one believing anything about number four's powers? Seriously? It isn't like they didn't know.

Watched , The Changeling . 80's film for free on Youtube. It is very good and less spoon fed than other movies. I had to google some of the clues and stumbled upon Changling newer movie with Angelina Jolie based on the Winecoop murders in what is now Mira Loma California. Which was messed up but also really interesing. She was given the wrong son and was given crap about it. What a trip.

I'm on season 3 of the 100 and all I can say is this is not what I expected when I watched the Pilot episode.
Safe to say I'm hooked. -

Introduced my daughter to Oscar. It is probably the only comedy that Silvester Stallone made on purpose. It is the epitome of situational comedy, but hilarious if you've never watched it. The grammar jokes with Tim Curry are the best.

so my wife watched it religiously when it was on 15 years ago.
I never did....so now we are watching it off of Hulu and yes its pretty great!
but some scenes are kinda cringe-worthy in this current era of #metoo etc.
very interesting the changes from back then ...
I tend to think of the early 2000's as just a "few years ago" but that just dates my age a bit .
