      Finally - after 4 years we've purchased ESXi essentials. No more free version for us! (really life hasn't been bad on the free version)

      I also have a new DL380 G8 to install so I hopped over the VMWare's site and started looking for the install files.
      First off I see there is a new version. 5.5.0 u1 came out 3 days ago - damn and I just upgrade my first vmhost to 5.5 2 months ago... time to upgrade again already - lol

      And now to the reason for this post. I see there are two HP options on the Custom ISO tab. The included options appear to the same, the dates and build numbers are the same, but the sizes and checksums are different.

      Any ideas?

        One is an ISO file, the other is a Zip file.

              Yeah, one.

              A zip != an ISO. 🙂

                Yeah, yeah. 🙂 I think the mention of the ISO tab was a mistake, since I don't have an ISO tab. Just Product Downloads tab.

                    Mine specifically says Custom ISO - that's why I had the hang up (and the lack of reading)
