Most people aren't 100% E or I, and most of the extroverts I know need occasional down time too. Even introverts get lonely and long for company after being alone long enough πŸ™‚

I'm usually very polar. Either I NEED to be around people, or I want to be cut off from everyone and everything. Usually it's needing to be around people. I can only think of once or twice in my life I absolutely HAD to get away...

Once they've secured such a position, ENTPs need to remember that for their ideas to come to fruition, they will always depend on others to assemble the pieces - if they've spent more time "winning" arguments than they have building consensus, many ENTPs will find they simply don't have the support necessary to be successful. Playing devil's advocate so well, people with this personality type may find that the most complex and rewarding intellectual challenge is to understand a more sentimental perspective, and to argue consideration and compromise alongside logic and progress.

OK I'll have to remember this one, as much as it pains me.

Had my girlfriend take the test and she's ISFP, which was an interesting read. We both agreed that our descriptions summed us up nicely.

                    same for me: ISFP

I find it really hard to believe you're an introvert...you just seem to want to be around people!

@thanksaj It wasn't an overwhelmingly high percentage.....does that help? Nick said the same thing at first, but then he thought about it and then came around to the idea. LOL I don't know - I just gave you what the test said. maybe I didn't answer all the questions strongly enough.

shrugs Well, maybe you're one of those people who is both an introvert and extrovert. It just depends on the situation.

I got INFP-A. I always enjoy these tests. One thing that was very instructive for me was taking one before I went through counseling and then some maturing. My personality didn't change radically, but it evened out some of the extremes.

                                  My results, another INTP

Your personality type: β€œThe Logician” (INTP-A)
Strength of individual traits: Introverted: 88%, Intuitive: 73%, Thinking: 58%, Prospecting: 53%, Assertive: 54%.

                                  Strategy: Confident Individualism

It's kinda scary how accurate the description is.

It isn't free ($15 USD), but I really like something called the Flag Page (http://www.flagpage.com/). They have a very different way of putting together personality profiles. Instead of being based on scenarios it is based upon your emotional response to using different descriptors. For example if someone said that you were decisive how would that make you feel? Things like that. It was very eye opening to my wife and I when we did it in a way that the other tests weren't.

Another ENFP here... Although I feel like I'm more introverted. I actually gain energy from both being in a crowd (of people I know) as well as being alone with me, myself, and I.

I did the full Myers Briggs session in a team on 2 different occasions.

                                            ISTJ

But actually, I'd argue Myer's Briggs does not help you hugely. I was introduced to something called "Method Teaming"

                                            http://methodteaming.com

Far more effective, easier to implement in teams and it really helps you in the day to day. With Method Teaming.
