Disk 2 VHD have not been updated for like 5-6 years.

This on the other hand :

        https://www.softpedia.com/get/System/System-Miscellaneous/VMware-Converter.shtml

IF you can login via VMware you get more updated version.

That’s true but he’s converting 2003 and 2008 so does it really matter?

Lol, it has been 4 years but yeah it converts to VHD and VHDX. If you have Xenserver you can use the Converter ISO that Xenserver provides and convert the p2V as well.

Starwind's conversion tool is pretty solid.

How was this thread spared the "2003 bashing" others have received, LOL.

If youre using XenServer or XCPNG you can still use the Xenconvert program for the p2v. I used it just a month or two ago no issues.

Well the beating a dead horse conversation has already happened and we're all just tired.

I think everyone is just getting soft in their old age.

                          ML needs the blue pill.

It's just a couple of those servers that everyone forgot about that runs legacy application and sits in their own isolated network and nobody knows what to do with, except that they have to do something...soon. :smiling_face_with_open_mouth_smiling_eyes:
