      Is there a software that i can install in my laptop as an alternative for Cisco IPPhone? We use Cisco 7911 (Mitel 3300 PBX) but I'm hoping i can have IP-Phone software on my laptop so I can call anywhere on my laptop as long as i'm on the company network.

        You can try any of the softphones that exist.

        X-Lite or Zoiper might work.

          I have used Zoiper in the past and I liked it. If you're trying to get away from Cisco: My recommendation stands with @DustinB3403 : Zoiper is the way to go.

            Is there any admin side configuration needed to replace Cisco IP communicator?

              @irj I don't think that is relevant.

              I believe the question is "What softphones work with the Cisco PBX system?"
