DuoLingo Challenge

Tried this on a computer this morning. Mobile is my preferred experience, but the web version is pretty nice too.

I prefer the web, but Android gives more points for the same stuff.

I haven't noticed that, it's the same for me.
I prefer the web for learning, as the Android app doesn't give any explanations or teaching content... only practice.

@scottalanmiller Yeah, just started with the Web. It also lets you access the lab stuff. I like it.

The new "test out" feature is great. I'm really liking that. And in Spanish that added like fifty new categories of things! So much more content now.

I haven't touched Duolingo for a month or two.
Before, I would be able to see skill deterioration and could brush up on those and then get back into the game.
Now, I have no idea other than to just start at the beginning and get htem all to a certain point.
They all look like the pic below, with the ones up higher all at "3s". But it's been awhile...
What do you guys do now?

They've completely changed how it works. It is the Crown system now. I go one by one and max them out, personally. I think that that is the better idea, it's meant to do reinforcement.

I do at least 3-4 and then move on. I'm not even sure what number they max out at.

I'm at about 140 Crowns on Spanish right now. They added 52 more lessons to Spanish since I last completed it!

Only 66 "skills" for Swedish. If they each have 5 levels, that should give me 330 crowns.
What is the potential for Spanish @scottalanmiller? 80 skills now?

Over 80 I think. It was HUGE before they added the 50+ new ones.

Just counted, 125 skills by my count for 600 potential crowns.

Spanish is their leading language by a huge margin. It always gets everything first.
