We are service providers and have to keep track of network notes for our clients(passwords, network config, IP address, etc). Is there a template that any one has that will help me track all the information in a standardized format?

How about a password keeper, such as bitWarden? You can store a number of different texts in there, but not so sure about graphics, if that is going to be an issue.

That wouldn't have a template though.
probably a xls in Onedrive/sharepoint or NC could probably solve this.

Or do like others and make a Wiki.

@dashrender yeah we've started transferring location notes to a wiki instead of word docs for each site

We are looking for a baseline template in order to make sure everything for each client is listed in the same order. Right now you have to scroll through to find things. We have been just using Google Docs.

I'd recommend a wiki. You can make a template easily in a text file and just copy paste into the wiki to start a new page if the wiki doesn't have templates built in.

What do you keep in the wiki (or wherever) for clients and in what order? That's what she is looking for. Something standard that we should have for all clients.

OIC, she wants more of the content of the template rather than the style of it 🙂
