Install Telegram Desktop on Fedora 26 and newer with Cinnamon Desktop

Telegram has a whole lot of RED in that messaging app chart... why are we all switching to Telegram now? Is it just because of the interface? Is that enough of a reason to dramatically lessen your cares of security (according to that chart)?

not really - especially when many of use started using Telegram, it was a pretty crappy interface.

But, unlike Telegram, group chat in Signal gives all users in a group chat everyone's phone number, Where Telegram does not.

EFF ranked Telegram as the most secure option when we all moved to it. Things like WhatsApp were considered very insecure at the time.
Because I speak to all people before talking to them on there, I'm not worried about their verification piece in practice.

I'm going to do it that way.Didn't think to look there. I added Telegram before adding RPMFusion.

No link, because only the group admin can make one and said group admin is slow to respond.

I never deleted the guide because it was acurate when posted, and in case someone hits a similar issue on a different distribution, there are examples.
