Who's with me? No matter what side of the aisle you are on, it seems that America could use a real leader. I can already see the ticket now. Miller / Busch for President Who would vote for that?

They'd spend so much time arguing about what the meaning of a given term was that nothing would get done. Miller/Busch - Save the Republic Through Inaction!

I'm pretty sure the only requirements were to be an Natural born American citizen over 40.

Per the constitution, there are three rules. - 35 years old.
- a resident for 14 years within the United States, I assume the prior 14 years to Election, but not certain..
- a natural born citizen, which is stipulated but not specifically defined in the constitution

 There it is.

So we are good to go.
-
@scottalanmiller said in SAM for President!: So we are good to go. That 14 year thing though... Unless you never changed your residency.
-
@coliver said in SAM for President!: @scottalanmiller said in SAM for President!: So we are good to go. That 14 year thing though... Unless you never changed your residency. I never do. Causes all kinds of tax problems. To change your residency you need another country to give you residency. You can't just "give up" residency.
