Pages not always showing full content in active threads

As the Skype thread was so active this morning, i noticed that as long as I stayed in the thread everything was current.
But when I went to check another thread and then came back to it, I would often be missing the last post or two unless I forced a browser refresh.
Windows 8.1 with Chrome Version 37.0.2062.124 m

More info. If i go back to the thread via the last notification i have the end of the thread is that notification message until I force a refresh.
If I go to the forum topic and then click last post link it correctly take me to the last post.

i've been noticing weird page loads on threads that I start. As long as i'm in it it's fine. but if i leave and come back, it's blank. until i refresh. weird.

That is odd, I have not seen this yet. I see the updates to the thread as they happen. But have not gotten a blank page yet.

I never said blank page, I said missing content from the end of the thread.
