The animation in in CV is certainly not very good IMO. But it suffices to tell the story.
The animation in Berserk is not actually that bad, yeah it has bad spots, but it is more about it was put together horribly. If you want a more intelligent review instead of random people spewing bullshit, try this.
I tried to watch it and couldn't. The animation was so bad nothing seemed real. Granted, it wasn't in every scene but it was enough to turn me off to it.

Nothing seemed real? Just WTF. It is a basic 3D rending engine like probably half the games you play. This type of response just smacks of elitist BS from someone that actually does not know what they are even talking about.

Nothing seemed real as in the animation was not human, even though they are portraying humans. They move like those MiB aliens that are trying to pass as humans.

It is traditional in sports generally to do lots of press events for marketing reasons. They are generally fluff at best. In fight sports there is a tendency to talking shit about the opponent to build tension at said events. Macgregor and Mayweather are both considered to be quite good at that bit of the process so there may have been some entertainment value. There was almost certainly no news to be had.
