I buyed a couple but they had no ssd... they are really ok! better than sff for obvious space related resons, but with our specifications they either didn't fit the bill or didn't provide specs.

@matteo-nunziati I think that now they can have ssd… do you have any pictures of that in the field? How they compared VS the size of an iPad? Standard mount or behind the screen?

view even more images online but when we are not part of a specific medical facility, DVDs are generally the easiest method to get them.

Well do you have a central workstation that can Import the DICOM Images to your System? That is what I have for ease of access. Although is nice to have CD/DVD Drives in the Exam Room and doctors computers.

Yes, but if we import these external images, we have to pay for their storage. In general we don't want/need to keep these external images, we just look at them this one time, and move on.

You can also buy them with an i7. So I cannot see how it cannot work for anyone. Getone with an i7, SSD, and 16GB of RAM and it is way more power than needed for almost everyone.

My HP versions of these are 1.5 Inches thick, 6 inches wide, and about 8 inches deep.

Of course we need a lot more room on the back side because they only accept Display Port connections so I have often have to use convertors for my old VGA monitors.

at the time it was a mix of requirements vs cost. dell didn't provide i5+ssd+8gb ram in Italy, so we gone for the 3040.

I'll get some shots tomorrow (if I remember). this vs ipad: neglecting thickness this is between an ipad and an ipad mini.
we simply keep it on the desk or behind the screen depending on the app. no vesa mount (and not included with the models from hp/dell we buyed)

I'm planning on deploying 24 SFF machines for a school computer lab. The limited space they have is a big factor. Plan on mounting them on the back of the monitors. Plenty of horsepower for their workload.
