But how is a switch not a PBX???
You at least are simply not educated.
FreeSwitch is a PBX. FreePBX is a number of things, but one thing it is not, is a PBX.
So there is irony in the names.

I just finished loading up Snipe-IT with some assets, gonna be collecting purchase information and then labeling actual equipment.

Oh SH^^! been having issues last couple of days using 5nine with WMI errors. So thought wait till mid week and give it a reboot tonight but now when I RDP into it I get No active network adaptor found and no blue menu. Oh the joy i'm going to have in the morning!

Leaving work an hour early to go vote in Provincial elections. Looks like we're headed for a minority government which means more elections in a year or two. Sigh.

I understand FreePBX to be a GUI for the Asterik PBX.
It is. But that's not what most people mean. FreePBX is a GUI for Asterisk, but primarily it is a distro built using that GUI. Very confusing that both share the same name.

Just finished of running with the kids and wife around the track. Went for yogurtini since hagendaaz free cone day had a line around the building... now finally ready to sleep. Worked from 7 AM yesterday to 1:30 AM today and from 8:45 AM to 5:30 PM. Exhausted
