Dual-WAN Router Recommendations

Looking for a dual-WAN router for home use. It doesn't have to be crazy but I'm looking for something that will load-balance the traffic between the connections in the event of high usage, etc. I currently have FiOS and, in the near future, may end up with a Time Warner connection. Suggestions?

Ubiquiti EdgeRouter Lite, of course.

Ubiquiti doesn't do "real" load balancing yet that I know of. But you can send different traffic to the different sides to manual load balance a lot and do failover when needed.

Also, I've worked at the CLI with Cisco before but never with Ubiquiti. I'm not opposed to it, but is their documentation up to snuff so that I can do what I need to do? -

Basically the same as the VyOS docs. I find it pretty easy to use.

Well I saw the console port. Does it have a web GUI to use? I'd assume it does but I wasn't sure.

Possibly better if you need more than 3 ports. I had to return my ER-X, and they didn't have any of them left in stock.... so I went home with an EdgeRouter PoE instead.

Three should be fine. Two WAN ports and a port for an AP, and I'm good.

Yes, and it would save you money too.

The ER-X is less expensive than the ER-L.
More ports, less money, less CPU power I assume, but does have a Switch chip in it.

I always recommend the ER-X for home simply because of the onboard switch chip.
Config eth0 and eth1 for your dual WAN and then eth2, eth3, eth4 on switch0 with the AP plugged into eth4. You can even use the PoE injector for your AP to power the unit (assuming a Ubiquiti Unifi AP of some type) and still pass the PoE on to the AP.
Less of everything even a power cord

the ERL is is pure router. no switch chip. It also has slightly more power and more storage.
I use them a lot simply because they are already in place though.
Most branch offices would be an ER-X now.
The main office would be an ER-PoE.
