I never saw the original West World (I hear it was bad). The Matrix and West World are leagues apart for me but I'm not in the business of giving spoilers to anyone who hasn't seen it yet.
West World is that much better than the Matrix?
Westworld is amazing. And, as mentioned, it can create an existential crisis for the viewer.

I really enjoyed West World. Most of the arcs have some pretty brutal, and obvious, twists... but all in all it is a really decent and entertaining show. I'm trying to watch The OA on Netflix right now. The first episode was pretty good, haven't had a chance to see the second one yet.

I was hearing good things about the OA while I was at lunch. Sounds like a good show.
The deeper you delve into Westworld, the better it gets. There are many layers that haven't been touched on after 2 episodes.

It's really rare that a CDW post has more than 1 sentence fragment and a shortened link... Seems like they only post to drive traffic to their blog, this is the first time I've seen them post something in an actual attempt to engage people in a discussion on SW.

My baby brother is in the hospital. And I'm freaking out.

Frigging exhausted, been running since I got in, no sleep lastnight. Went to get my jacket, walked all the way out to the smoking pit (half a km away) and realized that the emergency call I got whist inhaling my sammich in my car meant that my smokes are now 1.5km away. Queue sadness.
