Haha... oh man that's funny. I'd have had to work regardless. Even in blizzards where we get 2 or more feet we are expected to be to work the next morning, at least in this area.
Yeah here too.... anything under 4 feet is a who cares get your butt to work
LOL, well, like coliver said, if there is a place to put the snow.. and the roads get plowed.. great.
otherwise, no 4x4 is getting through 4 ft of snow
I don't know why... but 4x4s are often the ones that are in the ditch. Between that and civics.

4 wheel drive only helps you take off faster, won't save your butt when going to fast. Plus, people are silly.
but having a 4x4 means I can go through anything! I don't need to stop, everyone else can watch out for me.

Meeting up with the parents Sunday morning, playing games with friends in the afternoon, and making plans to go see my newest nephew out in Seattle latter this year.

A (hopefully painless) quick 24hrs of family time, then I'm planning on doing absolutely nothing but resting and relaxing (and maybe drinking).

In theory there is a New Year's party at our house but the roommate that was putting it on seems to not be doing that. I'm kind of hoping that it gets cancelled so that we can spend the weekend packing as we need to leave in less than a week to head north to New York to stage for the trip to Italy!

I am going to babysit my nieces earlier in the evening so my sister and brother in law can go out (they should be home by 7:30). Then I am going out with some friends to see 2 bands and have dinner.
@art_of_shred is playing at a gig in the opposite direction from where I will be so we don't be together.

Nothing planned at all this weekend. I have some stuff to catch up on and pretty soon Dominica has to travel back to the US for a wedding so I'll be swamped taking care of the kids while she is away.
