What Are You Doing Right Now

Just made some coffee. Will be at my "desk" all night. Nothing to do because of the holiday. Wife and her sister are doing a puzzle together. Kids are all playing together. Niece is doing her own thing. BIL is watching reality TV. Nothing to do but work for me.

And @scottalanmiller can spin up a wiki and post a how to so I can be lazy and replicate it for us.

I got a wiki up for @art_of_shred a few days ago But it is just DokuWiki on Fedora, so nothing too ground breaking. It's built into the platform, but I decided not to use the Fedora managed one because it had some issues. So it's a stock setup of the latest version directly from DokuWiki.

No wine glasses in the house, so we are drinking red wine from mason jars. We are fancy.

Even being a holiday evening in the US, ML has got some amazing, sustained traffic going on. It's very impressive.

The posting is busy for the time of day, but not "busy". But the view traffic is really high, like a good 15% over a normal day and the holiday should have made it slower, not busier.

Kids are watching Ghostbusters III and the house is shaking.

This is so @thanksajdotcom

We've entered into the quiet of the holiday.

It's Thanksgiving which is pretty big here. It's not religious, just a national day of celebration. It's kind of like our founder's day. It's on a Thursday so pretty much always means a four day weekend for the working folks. You do loads of food and always get together with family. It's actually one of the biggest US holidays. Not as big as Christmas, but bigger than anything else that I can think of. Bigger than New Years, bigger than Easter, bigger than the Fourth of July.

Thanks, already heard that. You know, I'm from Europe, not from outer space

It's a weird holiday for non-Americans to know, though.
