Heading to Wisconsin Dells for an overnight trip. Taking the kids to Great Wolf Lodge indoor water park. They have some Halloween events all month.
Cool! We did that when I was a kid. The Dells were one of my favorite places that we lived.
Did it 3 years ago for a summer trip when we did not live up here.
Now, it is just a quick 2 hour drive.

Convenient excuse to eat turkey - highly recommend.
Had that once, wasn't that great IMHO. But I'll give it another try.
Deep fried turkey is the way to go. We used to do several every year. They have an excellent crispy skin while still being incredibly moist on the inside.
^ the ultimate way to go but is a huge pain in the ass to clean up
unless you have a diesel vehicle you waste a ton of oil.

Try smoked blue cheese, omfg. Keep temps low as you can and just let it sit.
