I'm not saying it's bad, but it's pretty much about commerce. And I won't stop you if you like to pay such prices in a place that's so crowded with people that you can barely take a breath:

Yeah, that's pricey. Lived there before the wall fell and exchange rates with the DM were great.

The place I'm going won't be super crowded and has $3 pints (or a nice price on all you can drink). I'll be damned if I'll ever pay 9 Euro for a soda.

Yeah, hehe, said something similar before: I'll be damned if I ever pay 2,50 DM for 1L of lead free gas. 1,25 EUR right now, pretty close to 2,50 DM...

At first I thought that those were giant water balloons and I thought that those would really hurt if you dropped them out of a hotel onto someone on the street.

Gotta work for a bit in the morning, but after that I'll be slow smoking some beef chuck roasts for pulled beef tacos, and getting my classical chops up on my new (used) nylon string (classical) guitar. Weather should be perfection, so I'll be sitting out back with a guitar and a beer all weekend.
