Anyone on that Overwatch hype-train? inb4 someone mentions its a repackaged team fortress 2
I mean... it kind of is, as are most MOBA/S that are out there. I'm not saying that it won't be fun and that I won't pick it up, eventually, but it looks like game play isn't much different... maybe a bit faster.
I wish they had done Starcraft Ghost like they had originally intended that looked like could have been an awesome property.
lol it totally is. The only thing I can say is that Blizzard did a better job optimizing it and I'm sure will do a better job supporting it. I don't really care what I'm playing as long as its fun. I've been gaming with the same 4 people for like 14 years now.
No doubt, Team Fortress 2 was a crazy amount of fun until the hats update. We played competitively for a season or two before real life got in the way. We weren't good by any stretch but we had fun. I fully expect the Overwatch community to be as toxic as the rest of the MOBA's have been. I think TF2 was special in that it really didn't have that, or maybe only playing with the same 4 or 5 people insulated me from it.

LAN Tonight! CS:GO, DotA 2, TF2 and the new Unreal Tournament are all on the cards apparently...should be fun!

Playing Telltale Games' Law and Order with @dominica. Sadly, from what we can tell, this one has been pulled from the market and you can't buy it any longer, even though it is quite a good game.

We bought it on Steam as part of a larger pack, but Steam has since pulled it and TTG's website does not mention the game as being something that they made any longer.

Managed to get my Mojang account back (urgh.) so played a bit of MC over the weekend...also R6 Siege, Tropico 5 and getting back into Stranded Deep - been a while since I played it, and they've done some really good changes/additions...still a few bugs, but still in beta stage so that's fine by me! Shaping up to be a great survival game though!

I love Tropico. I played a lot of 1, 3 and 4. I have 5 but haven't gotten into it yet, need to set aside a few months for that

@scottalanmiller yeah definitely, I loved 4 and put a lot of time into it (but steam didn't record it....) and thought I'd be able to hop into 5...nope.
Went to sandbox and lost at the first election...I may have to play the tutorial/campaign first....

Same here, I rocked Tropico 4, beat it with all of the expansions. Went into Tropico 5 and even for someone with lots of T3 and all of the T4 experience. T5 was a learning curve.
