The old one isn't available anymore (at least once the channel sells out of them, which it is already pretty much gone).

The Lite version is $80'ish... I'd have to dig out my invoice.

@Dashrender Nice, that's not bad. I'll be upgrading mine 1 AP at home soon then.

The UAP-AC-LITE is $89 from doubleradius.com + shipping and shipped in a week.
The UAP-AC-LITE is $84 from balticnetworks.com + shipping but backordered until Feb.

The original UAP is $69 from doubleradius.com or $65 from balticnetworks.com

So much for it being a direct replacement for the the previous one. I'm guessing the Pro is the same way..

Oh... that's not good. Maybe they sell adapter kits? Or I know a company this is going to need new ceiling tiles if they upgrade to these.

The UAP-AC-PRO is a direct replacement.

I should be getting some Pro's in a month or so.. I guess we'll see when I order them.
                        Good find.

Seen a few more pictures, and depending on how much of a hole was put in the tile for the Ethernet, you could still get everything hidden after remounting. except maybe the top mounting hole from the original UAP.

                                  That's pretty ugly. Glad I didn't mount mine 😉

What is ugly? The new one is basically the same, just smaller.

                                      I think they look fine!

Though I really like the mounting bracket on the Cisco APs better - they clip onto the drop ceiling railing and install much faster.

I get to install one of these, and they just got rid of all the drop ceilings. It's just one AC-Lite AP, but me and drilling holes doesn't generally work so well.

The kit that came with the original Unifi APs came with drywall mollys/anchors. Make sure you use these, otherwise it could get messy. The AP isn't that heavy (the Lite probably less so) but the anchors are for the best.
