So did the kid that started all the crap recently. He did not build anything. He took apart a 1980's clock and repackaged it into a briefcase.

FWIW I started taking stuff apart (lawnmowers in particular) much younger. This is how it begins, the quest for knowledge! I'm stoked for that kid, he's going to get an enormous helping hand in life now. All at the cost of a day's inconvenience and making new friends at a new school (to whom he'll be a minor celebrity)
