Printer Issue

I need help!!!!!
Have a Printer:
Yesterday we installed a new one of these for another area of the building (no new drivers to our knowledge but possibly with the addition of the new printer). All of the users were unable to print for a bit yesterday and then all the sudden they could (I was out all day and no one know what do to, so no one touched anything after the install) We have about 10 users who use this particular printer. 3 users still can not print.
I have un-installed the printers, restarted the machine and re-installed, no go. I have now down this about 3 times.
On this last time upon restart, I did not have to install the printers again as they were just there but they still won't work ???????
We get the following errors still:
-
Are all of the printing issues from MS Office products? Maybe try an MS Office repair.

No they are from various places, PDF's, excel, word, emails, notepad just no go on printing.

Are the printers being pushed out via Group Policy? If that's the case it could be pushing out the incorrect driver.

Wouldn't that affect all the machines though not just these 3 ?

It should yes.

If you rolled them with a static address instead of DHCP with a reservation, there is a possibility of a duplicate IP address on the network. That will cause symptoms like you are having.

Wouldn't be the first time finding that this week.

Thank you I will take a look at that!

Just verified that it is DHCP, good guess though.

Is printer set up as a shared printer off a print server, or is it being pushed out as a local printer with a TCP/IP print queue?
-
Can you do a print test page?
Is the printer set as the default printer? -
Instinctively, I just want to downvote this post, because I hate printers so much.

OH ME TOO!!!!
-
Power cycle the printer itself, even though some user can print to it I have seen a power cycle fix weird print server issues
-
Now we have people having printer issues all over the building. I hate printers.

Instead of
\\server-dns\printshare
, try\\server-ip\printshare
