yeah, this is a really bad accident. Many dead, 77 on their way to hospital, train corridor closed, US Interstate closed, all kinds of damage..... and this is going to seriously set back the US high speed train program.

Right? Apparently, they didn't have enough redundancy.

Well fuck I was just thinking about actually purchasing an Amazon Music subscriptions for this purpose. I have a huge iTunes library or ripped CDs. As I grew up in the 80's 90's, that is how I acquired my media.

Correct, just streaming, and if you have Prime Unlimited you can listen to any album you want (almost)

Actually no. You get to stream things licensed here.

I have a lot of music purchased in Japan also. Not available to stream here. I want to up my library someplace for this reason.

I never want to use Google services like this again because they seem to just randomly cancel shit all the time.

That’s what has been in the back of my mind when they have removed Google Reader, Picasa, Chrome Apps and pther products. Good food for thought.

Well fuck I was just thinking about actually purchasing an Amazon Music subscriptions for this purpose. I have a huge iTunes library or ripped CDs. As I grew up in the 80's 90's, that is how I acquired my media.

YOu can still use Google Music. You can store up to 50,000 songs. I have Amazon Prime so streaming won't stop.

I never want to use Google services like this again because they seem to just randomly cancel shit all the time.

That’s what has been in the back of my mind when they have removed Google Reader, Picasa, Chrome Apps and pther products. Good food for thought.

Also Google Voice is as good as dead because it was integrated into hangouts and then that was abandoned. Not canceled and still works, but not worth a shit.
