I want to make sure I understand what you said - you're saying that even though the user shutdown the computer, then had to use the power button to turn it back on, it was still showing as up for xx days?
Where have you been the last bunch of years?

Dude ... I can't count the number of times folks told me RAID was a backup system for their data.
Now, folks are saying the same for cloud's distributed systems. #SMH
