      @dafyre
Would that make ShareX similar to Greenshot?

@gjacobse Yeah. I actually switched to ShareX from GreenShot. GreenShot could probably do it too.

@dustinb3403 how would I use that?

I took a screenshot of your picture using ShareX and then edited the image with the built in tools.

I'm assuming you're wanting to add notes, based on the yellow arrows.

            /assuming

Nope I need to put in reading for all the coloured lines and arrows 😁 hence not wanting to have to manual add text boxes all over the place.
But it's looking like that's the only way.

The idea of the excel was I could just click in the cell easily and just type the values

Adding text is as simple as it possible can be, you click the T icon, and click where you want it. Type whatever, and then you can move it around if you don't like the exact placement.

Not often at the moment, it's only really for diagnosis of boards when I need help 😁
Just thought it would be a nice way of putting the data on to share.

I see what your saying but that's two extra steps, click the cell and just typing would be quicker 😁😁😁

Try ShareX (It is Windows Only though) but it works amazingly well. Best screenshot tool I've used and has a ton of functionality without the complexity.

The only thing I do at install is disable the "Uploading" of images (which it asks the first time anyways).

This is using WORD - took a moment to sort but MAY be close to what you are trying to do.

                            86adde88-39bc-412c-8e10-065a2b3acc9b-image.png

Add image to Word, then set to BEHIND TEXT, then Using WORD Tools to add pointer, and the single row three column table.

about two minutes or so after about 30 minutes sorta trying to remember how I did similar about five years ago.

Minus time reading another document, saving some addresses to a text file, changing channels on Pandora...

I'd say that's probably the average to use a image in a word document so it doesn't look like shit.

That's per image. Imagine adding 5 images and trying to get them to align properly with text 😬

@irj yea that was my thought process as well.

Where as using an image creator/editor to do it, namely ShareX is a matter of seconds per image.
