Ok so I have the first of the servers from @scottalanmiller and @NTG labs' equipment setup with Fedora 29, Cockpit and cockpit-machines is installed.

I've deleted the default storage repository (thanks to these instructions) and I'm able to create VMs.

Except ISOs aren't on the host, and that is the annoying part at the moment. How can I get copy and paste to work with the Terminal session within Cockpit so I don't have to use Putty?

And while, I have just used Putty to download an ISO (and it works) it's annoying as all hell to have to use putty for copy & paste.

          I usually create /mnt/iso (for iso's) & /mnt/data (for vm's).
Go to the terminal tab & use wget to grab the iso

          wget https://download.fedoraproject.org/pub/fedora/linux/releases/29/Server/x86_64/iso/Fedora-Server-dvd-x86_64-29-1.2.iso

Ive made a directory for iso, this is already done.

The issue is I don't want to have to type in a long url to download every iso.

Copy and Paste within the terminal tab is what I'm looking for.

On that issue there, one guy states it works on a Linux distro using chrome, but not Windows. Which is half of the issue I guess. .

I'll be setting up another device for use to test with, but last night I didn't get the chance. Of course putty works, but it's just one more layer.

@DustinB3403 Why not use a share and just mount it at the iso repo location?

Because I like to be stubborn and have my ISOs on host.

@travisdh1 essentially I don't want to have my hypervisor pulling across my network (even though this is my lab and the network isn't even close to being congested).

Your original post never said anything about o/s being Windows?

Correct; it didn't because I didn't realize it was a pertinent fact when posting this yesterday eve. As this is all web browser based functionality. Thus the "meh the OS isn't the factor".
