Yes posts on threads that you are not watching is likely. I've also seen issue where it shows funky numbers if I am logged into more than one place.

Only one second via cell tower for that last post.

and then 10 new posts after my last post. It kind of looks like after i click to reload it is not dropping the number of new post and just keeps on adding. Something isn't refreshing correctly.

I use that but less than 30% of the time. Will try a comparison. What kind of link are you on? Any odd firewall or proxy?

I've seen some update issues after the 0.4.3 update. Not sure what causes them. But I get a few false new post alerts and the unread list sometimes doesn't update.

Node.bb 0.5.0 is rumored to be coming soon. Hopefully that will fix a lot of things.

We are on a Fiber 10x10 connection. No proxies that I am aware of and no odd firewall rules either.

This morning I clicked on the new notification that I had a reply. and it went to the thread but stayed at the top. Clicked on the notice to take me to last place in thread and wound up on the blank screen as we have reported before. Maybe 10 minutes before posting this. In between, no other issues.

so even after the last update i am still getting false updates. Just got back from lunch and it said there were 200 new posts. Somehow in half an hour i doubt that
edit: on top of that now i'm not getting notifications when i am tagged in a post.

So odd. Is anyone else seeing anything like this?

i have noticed something, as i was using IE9 and having ML open in FF29 i noticed the new posts jumping in increments of 14 new posts each minute. Not sure what is causing this but just something i saw. in 5 minutes i had 72 new posts.
