i am also seeing some weird things where it says at the top of the Recent Topics page 12 new posts 55 updates but when i refresh the screen by clicking on that link 1 or 2 new posts and a few updates to other threads.

I've not seen the bottom of the page issue yet. But I switched to pagination recently too. Maybe that is protecting me.

I stopped using pagination last month because of quirks with the go to last viewed post button.

anyone else seeing the issue that I am where it shows "there are xx new posts. click here to reload" there are only or 3 new replies to existing posts? Another example, it just popped up 33 new posts. When i clicked to refresh there was 1 new post that i saw. Am i just missing something?

That means 28 new posts in those threads. If there are new Topics, it will list XX new topics separately.

i know that, but i just had 238 new posts in 30 minutes and only 1 topic changed in my recent feed and the views/reply only went up by 1. That kind of tells me something is amiss

It's still slower than before, posting takes longer, and the 'click here to see the last post you saw in this thread' link still does not work.

The last post you saw seems to be no "more" broken for me. I don't think that they worked on it.
I felt like it was faster last night. Although maybe it is the difference between an empty database and one with half a million objects in it.

It was working a month ago... though, now that you mention it... it was sporadic even then.

I agree to me it is slow to update when there is a new post. Sometimes its 2 minutes sometimes its 10. Also just got another click to reload. It said 5 new posts click to reload. Clicked and the only post that updated was the How May Notebooks Do You Use?, posts went from 31 to 32. Is it possible that there are other threads updating that are not showing up in my Recent Topics?

@david.wiese two to ten minutes to post? More like two seconds when I'm on a desktop in chrome. Super fast. When I'm in my phone and lose 4G then it takes me several minutes. I've not seen speed issues like that at all. Couple you be dropping packets?
