What Are You Watching Now

Ok, so b-movies are considered low-budget and whatnot. But what would it be called for TV shows? Soon-to-be-cancelled-budget?

I didn't make the list - there are several things on there I've never seen. Next time post it a bit more intelligently. because untl I started reading more carefully, I assumed that you wrote the list also. Who gives a shit who wrote it... that wasn't the point. And that other asker - assumed it was a Netflix list - though I have no idea where that thought came from...

A weird guilty pleasure. The first 8 episodes aren't good. The last two get much better and I'm hoping they get another season to answer some of the questions they put forth.

I give a show 4 episodes, if they can't make something by then, I drop them normally. Only 2 decent shows in a season of 10, not sure it's worth it. The Orville was like this - the first 3 episodes weren't great, but they started to get their legs by episode 4 and now they are part of my normal line up - sucks I have to wait until mid to late 2020 for season 3... but at least there will be a season 3.

Yeah, the weird part for me is I couldn't stop watching it. Katee Sackhoff is the main character and she's pretty much on point the entire series.

Oh, now that you name drop - I heard the show was meh - something about what they wear on the show - they made some lame excuse why people wear odd clothes and other weird things like that.... I haven't seen it, that's just one of the comments I heard about it.

Most people know her from Battlestar Galactica (the new one).

Also - my main point in saying that was - oh.. now that I see a name of someone in the show I recognize, I have at least heard about the show, even if I didn't know the know of the show.

@scottalanmiller said in What Are You Watching Now: This is her first starring role, lol. Most certainly not. She played Starbuck FFS....
-
If you are part of an ensemble, are you consider to be in a staring role? I could see it either way. In any regards, for most seasons I'd say she was the female lead (for one or two.. .the woman who played the president was)... though I suppose the Cylon woman (women) could be listed as leads...
-
@Dashrender said in What Are You Watching Now: If you are part of an ensemble, are you consider to be in a staring role? Okay, I'll give you that.

Got Season 4 of Taxi on in the background while I'm doing all kinds of system updates.

Oh yeah, I was thinking she was a side part. I guess she didn't make much of an impression on me. Not that she wasn't good, just didn't remember her more than a side part.
