      This thread is not like eschewing best practices. It is simply wtf.

      Is he talking about NAT'ing at layer 3? From what I understand, he wants to forward anything from his (probably single) external IP to multiple internal IPs. Like you said, that doesn't work. The closest thing I can think of is a Loadbalancer, but one that works at layer 3? Probably not. CARP could do, but you need a dedicated external IP and a shared one between all CARP members, as far as I know.

                  That's pretty easy:

                  *dafyre = null;

                    This is dumb..

                    There's probally some crazy ass expensive software like that can do it though.... It would have to be like a Citrix XenApp sofrware with a web reverse proxy too or something.

                    Hell I think even Xenapp actually uses multiple ports just 80 for the webinterface and the actual gui is done over others.

                      Yes, the ICA port is used for the real GUI.

                                  Is this another Storage-less server setup. . .

                                  I may be wrong, but I'm thinking it is... and wondering why the heck this is so common!

                                            1. Slow server? Just increase the IOP's. It's right there. In the settings. Don't worry: it exists.
                                            2. Slow internet? Wiggle the network cable, and then flex it back and forth like a glow stick. That will get rid of any blockages in the line.
                                            3. Slow printing? Try using a more slippery type of paper.
