Mine was a free ticket - so I don't think they'll let me sell it.

Is this a sign that a bunch of people who were going to SW are now backing out of SW?

Probably not, a lot of people, like @Texkonc in the SMB industry get hit with employers that change their minds, projects that preclude them from pre-arranged events and rapid job changes which often means buying a year ahead means that you can't tell if you will be employed at the same place or not by the time the conference rolls around.

I can't go because of a normally planned yearly event was moved up a month. Wasn't expecting that when I bought my ticket last year.

Tell them it was a non refundable ticket,... maybe they'll pick up the cost.

The trip is a personal one 😉 I guess I could tell myself it was non-refundable, and then pay myself the $100.

But i already sold my ticket.. and got the cash - yeah PP.

I'd have to take vacation to go to something like spiceworld. we don't consider them job related like training classes and conferences we go to as Spiceworld etc, are considered marketing

THis one is super expensive at $199. Can't imagine anyone biting when so many are available for $99. I thought that $199 was the full price rate.

If I wait until the week after, it's $0 - and I still haven't missed much.

Those last year at the conference could get them for $99 for like 5 hours. Then after that they went to $199.
