      YAY!!!!! support.dell.com is giving a 500 error!!! 🖕 🖕 🖕 🖕 🖕

What better way to "go public" then to royally screw up hosting on a website. . .

Dell has always had issues with their website and HP and really every major hardware vendor I can think of. Can't they hire some people who understand sys admin and website admin. . .

@dbeato maybe they are hosted at the same zero redundancy place as 🌶

LOL, no, that would be more reliable. I've hosted from my basement and did SO much better over SDSL with a single line than 🌶 does. And I mean that literally. We went four years without an outage!

But did they put in redundancy? AWS is not redundant if you don't know what you are doing (and they don't.)

I don't have all the details but they have multiple parts of the systems in different nodes. They also use Incapsula for CDN and DDOS.

Do they actually or is that just something they say? Honestly isn't exactly something they know about. They made lots and lots of claims about the old system too which turned out to just be made up.

They do use Incapsula for sure, regarding the nodes yes they have done it. I just don't have the post right at hand right now and there also has been a change on the domain sending emails as well.

Just ran into my mail man. Turns out they accidentally turned off my mail over a week ago. And they just changed mailmen on our route, so no one noticed.
